The General Services Administration (GSA) recently awarded BlackHorse Solutions, Inc. with the Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Numbers (SINs) on GSA’s IT Schedule 70. GSA created the HACS SINs to provide agencies a quick and convenient way to access a select group of pre-vetted support services providers in order to address potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities. By virtue of receiving the HACS SINs award, the Herndon-headquartered BlackHorse has been officially vetted as a high-quality cybersecurity vendor for federal, state, and local government customers. GSA officials recently announced in this article that they have teamed up with the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of Management and Budget to identify key cyber services on the HACS SINs which include:
- Penetration Testing (132-45A)
- Incident Response (132-45B)
- Cyber Hunt (132-45C)
- Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (132-45D)
In order to receive this award, BlackHorse successfully completed an intensive review process that included several technical oral interviews and required numerous capability and past performance documents.
“This is an important step for BlackHorse to deliver meaningful cyber defense capabilities to our customers, and we’d like to thank GSA for working with BlackHorse through the process” said Mike Kushin, President and CEO for BlackHorse. Dan Rolph, Vice President of Cyber Development at BlackHorse went on to say, “We deliver best in breed full spectrum cyber solutions and with the HACS SINs we’re able to expand our capabilities to a wider customer base. We are excited at the prospect of helping our customers defend their enterprise.”
